The Sea of Galilee is where Jesus walked on water, spent 3 years living on its shore, sailed on it and performed some of His most famous miracles.
It may just be the most famous lake in the world.

Around the "sea" are some of the most important Christian Holy sites. The ultimate experience is sailing on a wooden boat on its water.

• Capernaum described in the New Testament as the " Town of Jesus".
• Magdala, Mary Magdalen's village, where a 2000 years old synagogue was uncovered in 2009
• "Jesus Boat" displayed at kibbutz Ginosar, the only real artifact from the time of Jesus on display
• The Church of the Primacy of Peter also named Tabgha, is the traditional spot where Jesus appointed Peter to be his successor
• The Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes.
