The Golan Heights

The Golan Heights

To the north of Israel, and to the east and above the Sea of Galilee, rise the Golan Heights.
Dormant volcanos have shaped its plateau basaltic terrain, while wars, mainly the 1967 Six-Days War, determined its borders.

• River bed hiking trails.
• ATV buggy terrain tours.
• Skiing on the Hermon mountain slopes (during season), eagles watching and more.
